Customs Statistics Administration

Based on customs declarations, the Customs receives and processes data about goods crossing the customs border; and shares information with central public authorities according to the legislation in force. Data regarding transactions of a specific economic operator are considered confidential and cannot be shared with third parties or other public authorities without permission of the declarant, except in cases provided by law. Documents and information filed for clearance and customs control purposes are also data sources for customs statistics.

Upon request, the Customs may provide statistical information on foreign trade in goods of a specific economic operator, for a period of up to one year. This is a fee-based service, theamount of which is set in Annex 2 to the Law on Customs Tariff no. 1380 of November 20, 1997.
